Purpose
This qualification is designed for people who work with individuals to support and
assist them with their physical or emotional care, daily living needs or maintaining
their independence.
The course aims to develop the knowledge and skills for all those
who wish to work with Adults in Health and Social Care settings in England . The
course is made up of a mixture of mandatory units, specific pathway units and optional
units, based on skills or competence or knowledge.
What will I learn?
The certificate is made up of 7-8 Units which includes a mixture of optional and mandatory Units. The Mandatory Units include Understanding disability, society and the law, ‘Understanding Equal opportunities, Understanding record keeping for the care worker, Understanding Mental Health and many more. We will create a training programme for you from a selection of Units that will help you demonstrate your knowledge and competence in this field
